Join me in the 2010 Weekend to End Breast Cancer!

I will be participating again in the 2010 Weekend to End Breast Cancer which raises funds for breast cancer research, technology, development of a women’s cancer survivors fund, and the establishment of a fund to assist underserved, under and uninsured patients diagnosed with breast cancer to provide funds for diagnostic testing and treatment.

Why am I walking?

My motivations are very close and personal. My sister and a niece have both died tragically from this disease. I will be riding on her electric cart for them, for all of our patients who are battling this disease now, and for those who will have to in the future.

How can you help?

I have set my goal and hope to raise even more than last year! Please consider making a generous tax-deductible contribution to support her efforts. You may make your gift online at http://www.endcancer.org or use the enclosed form to send a check. You will receive an acknowledgment of your gift for tax purposes. (Please note that it takes several weeks for checks to be processed.) Your name will appear on my webpage as one of my supporters!

I would like to ride my electric cart carrying the name of any family members or friends you’d like to honor during the event.

Just provide the name and I will add their first name to the large pink ribbon on the front of my electric cart. Survivor names will be written in red, and those who have passed will have their names in blue.
