About The Weekend
The Weekend to End Breast Cancer® benefiting St.Vincent Foundation is an opportunity to discover what it means to be a hero over one amazing weekend taking place September 25-26, 2010. Thousands of women and men will unite in Indianapolis to walk 60 kilometers, or approximately 28 kilometers as a 1-day Walker, in a bold display of commitment. The money raised will save lives by supporting critical breast and gynecologic cancer research and care funded by St.Vincent Foundation.
The Weekend to End Breast Cancer walk in Indianapolis kicks off with Opening Ceremonies the morning of September 25th, and finishes with a hope-filled afternoon at Closing Ceremonies on September 26th. Walkers cover approximately 30 km each day, moving at their own pace and are supported by hundreds of Crew and Volunteer teams.
Funds raised from this important event support breast cancer and gynecologic cancer research, treatment and care right here in Indianapolis.
