Orientation/Outreach Specialist
Purpose of Position: Our Orientations/Outreach Specialist is a key role to introducing people to The Weekend to End Breast Cancer in the Indianapolis area! You will spend most of your time out in the community inspiring people to make a difference in the fight against cancer and register for our event.
Orientation/Outreach Specialist Description As the Orientations Specialist for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer, you will be the main presenter to an audience of people that have requested more information about the event. These orientations are conducted in public spaces and also at companies to their employees. You will make a presentation, show a video, answer questions and inspire registrations. Your outreach responsibilities will include finding local events that you and or our volunteers can attend and spread the word about our event with the goal of increasing the number of participants to our events. The ideal candidate will have a passion to make a difference, the ability to connect with and inspire people, experience in public speaking, organized, energetic, fantastic communicator, and professional demeanor.
The role of Orientation/Outreach Specialist includes:

Inspire registrations through face to face communications with people -
Find and book orientation locations -
Enter all registrations in the database on the date received -
Research events in local area and arrange outreach activities -
Work with volunteer coordinator to arrange help with outreach and orientation -
Contribute to a positive working environment -
Answer Inbound calls as needed -
Serve as Event Staff during event season -
Involves some days, evenings and weekends -
Must have transportation

Regional Operations Manager
Purpose of Position:
We are presently seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee The Weekend to End Breast Cancer.
The success of these events will depend on you and your ability to direct and motivate the Operations Team Leader and event office teams. We will measure that success by the number of participants that register for each of the events, the number of participants that participate in the events and by the total amount of donations raised.
Each local office that you manage will have pre-defined goals and budgets as created by the senior management team. Your job will be to achieve those goals using a variety of resources, tools and strategies. You will monitor performance trends, analyze the results and report back to the Director of Operations with any alterations you feel are required to propel the event in the right direction. Each local office and event that you manage will be unique is some way, and it is your role to work closely with the Operations Team Leader to understand and assess the market and communicate with the COO, Director of Operations and Marketing department to help create new tactics to increase registration/fundraising success and decrease participant dropout rates. Continual communication is a necessity to ensure all are apprised of successes, challenges and solution required issues.
As Regional Operations Manager you will act as a bridge between the senior management team and local offices to ensure the branding, mandates and goals are clearly understood in a positive, motivational manner and ensuring each local office is operating at their full potential. You will work with the entire operations management team in sharing of information to ensure the best performance of all event cities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing phone sales or service environments
In addition, your day to day functions include:

Train staff to increase results of call campaigns. -
Recruiting, training and retaining new employees and handle any performance or disciplinary problems -
Approval of payroll/HR administration (employment contracts, payroll, employee expense reimbursements, etc) -
Manage client concerns that require escalation beyond local managers -
Liaise with Logistics Manager to ensure effective resource allocation throughout the year, with a focus on the recruitment period -
Identify cost savings measures and be able to do cost benefit analysis of outreach opportunities and operations measures
